My son is about to get an S-Curl. Fifteen years after they were popular. This should be interesting. At least it should eliminate the crying when we comb his hair. He's determined to let it grow long enough to be braided. Coincidentally, he first expressed his desire to get his hair braided around the time the M.R.S. braided his little brothers. Hmmmm....
Noah had his adenoids removed today. He's been asleep for most of the day, but now he appears to be back to his old self. Hopefully this will allow him to breathe through his nose now, and get rid of the Darth Vader-like breathing. I guess I should prepare to watch some hoops now. See ya after Dook goes down!

Glad to hear that Noah is doing well. I'm interested in seeing Nick's new look! Tell Shonta that we've linked to her new Blog.....now give us something to read!
What are adenoids? What's an s-curl?
Adenoids are lymphatic tissues found in the roof and back of the mouth behind the uvula (that thing hanging down in the back of your mouth like a stalagmite).
An S-curl is a hair texturizer kit sold that makes the hair soft and curly, but not as much as the aforementioned Jheri curl. Nick's hair didn't look soft and curly after the treatment, though. It just looked extremely uneven - hence the trip to the barber. You won't be able to tell the difference tomorrow.
