- Growing up as a Tar Heel fan, it's sort of a requirement
- Attending Clemson, it's sort of a requirement. They've beaten us 21 straight times, including one buzzer beater this season when time was wrongly added to the game clock.

Re: Duke
Why the animosity against the evil empire known as Duke basketball? Hmmm... Lemme think

I picked VCU in my pool to beat Duke as did my twin sister (we're NC-born and bred and I'm a UNC alum and we're both UNC fans) and we were breathlessly on the phone Thursday night and then screaming when VCU beat the Dookies!
(My dad graduated from Wake Forest and did one of his post-graduate degrees at NC State and one at Duke, so I missed being able to rib him about it - watching games was always a blast in our house when I was growing up.)
I will say Coach K (I can't spell it either) has actually been more subdued this year than I've seen him any other year and I actually felt that the Dook player who got suspended for one game after the last regular season game Dook and Carolina played got a raw deal because he did not foul Hansbrough intentionally.
However, that's where my sentiment ends. In God's country (::smiles::), we take basketball very seriously, and as we Tar Heel fans like to remind everyone else, if God wasn't a Tar Heel, He wouldn't have made the sky Carolina Blue!
Michael, you're a bitter man.
